Noah Lyles: "I'd Like My Own Sneakers"

 Adidas athlete Noah Lyles won the gold medal for Team USA in the men's 100-meter sprint on Sunday at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris with a time of 9.79 seconds. The competitor revealed one of his next objectives following the race.

"My dream shoe is mine." I'd like a personal trainer. Very serious. There's no money in spikes, so I want a sneaker. Following the race to media, Lyles stated, "There's money in sneakers," which was posted on YouTube by Citius Mag. "Not even Michael Johnson owned a pair of sneakers." The fact that it hasn't happened, in my opinion, is absurd given the number of medals we bring back and the recognition we receive. That must take place.

Although he does not yet own a sneaker, he did wear an eye-catching style during his gold medal-winning performance: Adidas Y3 Spikes.



At the 2024 Paris Olympics, Noah Lyles won the gold medal in the men's 100m while wearing Adidas Y3 Spikes.


"With today's victory and everything he has accomplished in his career so far, Noah has solidified his excellence and position as one of the world's greatest athletes. We're happy to have been there for him every step of the way since our partnership began in 2016," said Alberto Uncini Manganelli, Adidas' general manager of running and credibility sports.

By the end of Sunday, the United States had 19 gold medals, 26 silver medals, and 26 bronze medals for a total of 71. As of Sunday, the People's Republic of China had the second-most medals, with 19 gold, 15 silver, and 11 bronze for a total of 45.
